STAM baked dog treats only contain ingredients that are good for dogs.
STAM treats do not contain wheat or corn. In fact, we do not use grains of any kind. Commercial dog foods already contain too many grains. Instead, we use chickpea flour. Chickpeas, also called garbanzo beans, are legumes like lentils and peas. Chickpea flour is high in easily digestible protein, which your dog needs a lot of. Our treats are also free of soy, dairy, eggs, yeast, whey, and artificial preservatives. STAM treats are not just unique, they are revolutionary.
Whenever possible, STAM uses fresh local ingredients. When in season, we grow our own carrots and herbs. We also make our own chicken stock and herb broth from scratch.
You can feel good about giving your dog STAM treats. Not only are you feeding your dog healthy treats made from the finest ingredients, but you are donating funds to no-kill animal sanctuaries. We love animals, and we know you do too.

Why is chickpea flour best? Aside from the important fact that chickpeas are grain-free, their protein content is outstanding, which is crucial to dogs. Protein supplies amino acids to repair damaged tissue, build muscles, supply energy, protect the immune system, and aid in hormone production. Take a look at the protein chart to the right and you’ll see why we use chickpea flour. And remember, organic fillers are still just fillers.
